Koinonia Residential Treatment Center in Rhinelander, WI is a 35 bed residential center licensed by the state of Wisconsin. The name “KOINONIA” is a Greek word meaning “FELLOWSHIP AROUND A COMMON GOAL.” The name was chosen to reflect the value placed on recovery by our Northwood’s residents and communities. The meaning, however, started and remains today the center point of our recovery philosophy. We provide 24-hour, peer supported environment and monitoring and treatment by a multidisciplinary team. Treatment services provided are psycho-educational groups, group therapy, individual and family counseling and case management.
The staff at Koinonia prides itself on being experienced and professional, yet caring and approachable. Our 24-hour resident care staff is skilled in day-to-day client management and services and is knowledgeable of recovery principles and practices. Dedication to the success of the individual client is the common goal of the entire Koinonia team.
Koinonia has dual credentialed clinicians and specialize in helping people with chronic relapse problems that often times have unresolved trauma issues.
