Katey Oestreich, SAC-IT

Katey Oestreich is a Substance Abuse Counselor in Training (SAC-IT). She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology at University of Wisconsin- Green Bay, and completed both Associate’s Degrees for Substance Use Counseling and Human Services at Nicolet Area Technical College. Katey has provided victim services for a period of 5 years, specializing in one-on-one advocacy and support of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault victims/survivors. Katey strongly believes in trauma informed care, personalized care and the importance of healthy relationships. She takes a Humanistic and Family Systems approach to counseling, and stresses importance of individualized care in understanding perception, as well as personalized solutions in counseling. She enjoys outside activities including hiking, biking, water recreation, camping and traveling. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with those close to her and enjoying new adventures.
